Bird Feeders

Feeding the birds at this time of year is a good idea because the food they normally eat such as insects and seeds is not so readily available. Also - they need lots of energy to keep warm.

You can easily make your own bird feeder from things you have in the house. Hopefully putting food out will encourage more birds to come to your garden or window ledge and if you are very quiet you will be able to watch them feed and listen to them sing.

Watch the videos below to find out how to make a bird feeder form a milk carton. Claire and Sumayyah show you how.
